Join the number of students that helped make a change at CATI

CATI has released at least three calls for internships in 2016, 2017 and 2020. We have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with the previous interns. The interns could interact with the persons with disability and the rehabilitation professionals at NISH to flesh out meaningful problem statements and create or implement AT solutions. We would like to mention a few of the notable internship experiences at CATI:

Kshitij Singh

In 2016, Kshitij Singh from Madhya Pradesh was officially the first intern at CATI. He spent five months at CATI from August, 2016 to January, 2017 and played a big role in advancing several projects and initiating some.

Neeraj

In 2017, Neeraj form Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, along with two other students, helped CATI staff with the challenging implementation of FM systems in the Early Intervention unit at NISH.

Amitha

In 2017, Amitha form Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, along with two other students, helped CATI staff with the challenging implementation of FM systems in the Early Intervention unit at NISH.

Greeshma

In 2017, Greeshma form Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, along with two other students, helped CATI staff with the challenging implementation of FM systems in the Early Intervention unit at NISH.

Denny Sebastian

In 2018, Denny Sebastian used his designing skills to make a portable ramp and an adaptive chair, which were fabricated using the Shopbot machine at Fablab, Trivandrum.

Varun

In 2019, Varun from Rajagiri College of Engineering and Technology improved the headmouse prototype, which he then presented at the EMPOWER conference by Assistech, IIT-Delhi in October, 2019.
